Who are Qski?

We are a small, friendly company registered in the UK with a French branch, operated by Quintin and Merrilyn, offering chalet holidays in the exclusive resorts of Courchevel 1850, 1650, 1550, Le Praz & Saint Bon in the 3 Valleys skiing area.

What are the benefits of booking with Qski, a small independent company?

We provide a personal and friendly service to you, our clients, with the focus on attention to detail and special service. More importantly, you will be dealing with the people who are actually operating the chalet in the resort and who therefore know their product inside and out.

What does the price include?

The price includes 7 nights accommodation with welcome champagne on arrival, daily breakfast and afternoon tea. An aperitif and canapés followed by a delicious 4 course evening meal with unlimited superior wine and filter coffee is provided 6 out of 7 nights (chalet staff have one evening off a week). The rooms are serviced to a very high standard daily (except chalet staff day off).

Is the resort suitable for all standard of skiers / snowboarders?

Yes, definitely! Les Trois Vallees region is renowned for catering to all levels of skiing / snowboarding from the earliest beginner to the most accomplished of skiers.

Are the chalets close to the slopes?

The chalets are superbly located in the centre of each village and less than 150 metres from the slopes. Guests have several ski lifts to choose from every morning as the skiing is truly on the doorstep.

How much is a lift pass?

An adult 6 day lift pass costs 178€ for the Courchevel valley or 220€ for a 3 Valley ski pass which includes 1 free days skiing in Val d'Isere/Tignes and La Plagne. A 6-day child pass costs 124€.

How much is 6 days ski/snowboard hire and do we receive any discount?

Adult ski/board and boot hire for 6 days ranges from 108€ (approx £75) to 185€ (approx £125). Qski have specially negotiated these rates for you (same rates as much larger tour operators due to our connections with the ski shops in the resort). In addition guests receive a 10% discount on new ski and boots equipment bought from the ski shop!

Do you offer an early evening meal for young children?

If requested, we can serve child meals at 6:00pm cooked to the same high standards as all the cuisine in the chalet.

What time do we check out of our rooms on departure day?

Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 9:00am on the departure day.

Is a shower available on returning from skiing on the last day, having checked out of our rooms?

We are able to offer the use of a courtesy shower room on departure day. Please let us know if this is required at the time of booking.

When is the staff day off?

Staff day off is on Wednesdays. Breakfast is provided to a high standard and afternoon tea is still available. We are happy to reserve you a table at a local restaurant for Wednesday evening meal (if Christmas day falls on a Wednesday the the staff day off will be the following day).

When do I have to pay for my holiday in full?

Minimum 10 weeks prior to departure.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes. Bed linen, bath and hand towels and soap are all supplied.

Is there a DVD/TV/ and stereo-system in the chalet?

Yes. There is a DVD and satellite television in the lounge as well as a stereo CD player.

What facilities are available for children?

Toys and board games are available in the chalet. With regard to ski school we recommend New Generation (English). ESF (French) offer childcare with or without ski school / lunch for ½ days or full days. Some English private nannies are available in resort.

Does Qski have a brochure?

Yes. Our brochure displays our product and gives a good description of our services and the resort. All our contact details are provided. We can send one out to you on request.

Can I book online?

No this is not possible. We prefer to provide you with a more thorough and personalised service either by phone or email. That way we can be sure to answer any questions you might have and cater to your specialised needs.

Through whom do I book travel?

We work closely with Skiworld and have an agreement with them, which enables us to supply travel to you. They are fully bonded so your money is secure.
